The World's Biggest Silent Hill Fan! An Interview with World Record Holder Whitney Chavis

2/10/2016

Silent Hill was released in 1999 and has since gone on to spawn a whole series of games, 2 films, comics and a whole heap of other merchandise. I'm sure some of you will have some (if not all) of the games as well as a soundtrack or two? Maybe some comics or a poster on your wall? But how many of you can say they have original movie props, signed merchandise, your name in not one but two of the games and a World Record Holder title?

For Whitney Chavis Silent Hill is so much more than just a game. Chavis has been collecting since the game was released and really got into around 2004, her first big collectable was the James and Nurse statue from Silent Hill 2 and since then she has been unstoppable. Her collection has grown so much over the years that she now holds the title for 'World Biggest Silent Hill Collection', with no end in sight to her ever growing collection (and love for Silent Hill) I interviewed her to find out more about what attracted her to the game, her most loved items and everything in between.

Apart from the games what was the first piece of merchandise you can remember collecting?

If I discount the soundtracks and guides as well my first collectible would be my Studio Oxmox Silent Hill 2 James and Nurse Statue. Finding this statue made me realize that that there was a variety of merchandise for the series available outside of the games, guides and soundtracks. This purchase is what inspired me to look for more and start a collection.

What would you say is the most precious item in your collection and why?

Ah man that’s a really hard choice for me to make! I’m really fond of the Silent Hill 2006 and Revelation movie props as well as my Heather with the custom base but I guess if had to pick just one item it would have to be my Japanese Silent Hill Retail Banner. I love the design and it was one of the first stand-out items I added to my collection... plus it's one of the few items that consistently comes to mind whenever I'm asked to name a favorite over the years...so I'll go with that!

Obviously you’re a huge fan of Silent Hill but what is it about Silent Hill that got you hooked?

I got into the series way back when the first game was released in 1999. My interest was piqued when I read a short preview of the game accompanied by a screenshot of Harry standing over a dead dog in a bloodied alley in one of my brother’s random game magazines. I was really into playing survival horror titles and since Silent Hill was referred to as a "Resident Evil clone" at the time it was a give in I would at least give the game a try.

Once I actually played Silent Hill it became obvious to me that outside of play mechanics and being in the horror genre Silent Hill and Resident Evil were completely different experiences.  After beating the game once I had so many questions left over that I knew replaying and getting all the endings was a must! Once I was done, the game’s unique music, atmosphere and stunning CGI still stuck with me months later and since then has been one of my most treasured and favored games. So I was hooked from day one pretty much and my passion for the series continued to build with each new installment!

You’re also a huge fan of Deadly Premonition and collect merchandise for that too. Do you collect things for anything else?

Ah... Deadly Premonition now there’s a game seriously lacking in some sweet, sweet official merchandise! (and to think I believed collecting for Silent Hill was hard all those  years ago HAH!)

I’m not actively collecting for anything else at the moment but I always end up with collections of varying sizes for media I really like. For example, I’m a big Superman fan so I have a bunch of stuff - movies, comics, figures, etc for him. I also have a weakness for dolls and action figures from my favorite shows, games and movies so I have a quite a collection in that regard ranging from imported anime dolls from the 90’s, high end Hot Toys action figures, to collector Barbies and Funko Pops...though Silent Hill is definitely my largest and most active collection by far.

You run a hugely popular website and Facebook page for Silent Hill as well as an additional site and page for just your collection. Did you ever imagine them to be as big as they are? and what made you decide to set those up?

No way! I started silenthillcollection.com as a way to help me keep track of what I have but also as a resource for others to see just what kind of cool stuff there is for Silent Hill out there. When I published my first two collection videos on youtube years ago there were comments from people wishing to see more shots of an item or wanting to know where I purchased it so it seemed like making a website with more information to reference was just the next logical step. I knew there were people really into collecting for the series so I created the FB collector group as a fun way to share finds and make trades with others. Honestly, I’m amazed at how many people have joined over the years. I had no idea there were so many fellow SH collectors out there!

My “main” Silent Hill site, Silent Hill Historical Society, actually began as a site dedicated just to Shattered Memories formerly called “Always on my Mind” back in August 2009. The original 1999 game has always been my favorite installment so I was super excited about the re-imagining when it was announced in April that year.  With the game’s original October release date fast approaching I was surprised that there wasn’t already a site dedicated to the game already. Sure all the websites dedicated to the entire Silent Hill series had some of the big news and screens but there was nothing like the fan run silenthillorigins.com or silenthill5.net which, in anticipation of Silent Hill Origins’ and Silent Hill Homecoming’s releases, were a central hub for the latest news, game information and screens. I figured since I was already scouring the web for any new information anyway why don’t I compile it all and take a stab at making my own fan site?

Then when Downpour was announced at e3 2010 I decided to expand the site to include Downpour news since I had so much fun gathering news on Shattered Memories. So I changed the name to "Silent Hill Historical Society", made a new layout,  started a FB page and a general Silent Hill podcast and things just took off exponentially from there.

I never really expected SHHS become anything more than a small space for me to gush about my excitement over dumb upcoming Silent Hill things so for it to be considered one of the ‘big” SH sites out there is pretty fucking amazing...especially when there’s frankly better and more complete Silent Hill resource sites out there. It’s been a blast sharing all the excitement (and the disappointments) these past 6 years I’m truly grateful to everyone who has paid it a visit.

...I just wish we all still had a new installment to look forward to :(

You’ve conducted quite a number of interviews, podcasts and reviews over the years. Out of all of these which one stands out the most for you and why?

Definitely my podcast interview with Adelaide Clemens and Kit Harington and director Michael J. Bassett. It was pretty surreal to get an (skype) interview with actual movie stars and a director! I was super nervous and was rather worried my questions would be lame given that I hadn’t seen the movie yet. Given that I live in California and they were all in New York for Comic Con when the actual interview happened 6:30am my time so recording a podcast that early was certainly a first. I was really worried I would sound groggy lol. Luckily I didn’t sound too bad plus they were all super nice even if I rambled a bit!

Being a World Record Holder is impressive and an amazing achievement. Did you set a goal towards this or was it more of a ‘I’ll apply and see what happens’ kind of thing?

It was more of a what that hell let’s try and apply kind of thing.

My friends would often state that I probably had the largest Silent Hill collection in the world. I didn't really think that was possible given how many other fans I know, yourself included, who are also passionate about collecting items for the series but thought it would be fun to see if such a record was ever attempted. I knew there were other series specific collections on record in the past like Pikabellachu's famous Pokemon/Pikachu collection world record in 2009 so I knew it could be possible. The big question was would mine, which was only in the hundreds and not thousands, even be considered worthy?

So I checked out the Guinness World Record website and looked to see what sort of collections they had on record and I saw that a few records actually had hundreds of items like Rob Hull's collection of Daleks (571) record set in 2011 and thought hey maybe my collection may actually have a chance.

I applied on the Guinness site for a "Largest Silent Hill Collection" category in January (shortly after I put my December 2013 collection video on youtube) and a week later I received a response saying they couldn't accept my proposed category and told me to try for the "Largest collection of videogame memorabilia" instead...which I knew I couldn't come close to given it was over 8 thousand items!

I figured that I would try again when my collection was closer to a thousand but to my surprise months later a representative from Guinness emailed and said they were interested in adding a new category for "Silent Hill only" and wanted to review my claim again. Not sure what changed their mind but shortly thereafter I was declared a world record holder!

It was a pretty exciting experience! I know there's bigger and more interesting world records out there but it's amazing Guinness thought my collection was worthy to record!
Your collection is constantly growing, where do you store it all?

Luckily for me most of my collection is made up of small items so I can fit 90% of it in plastic bins in my closet. When I get a bigger place with a spare room I would love to display everything but at the moment the only time everything is out is strictly limited to when I want to make a video or take pictures showing my entire collection.

Over the years you’ve managed to add so many amazing additions to your collection but surely you’ve also missed out on a few as well?

Oh yes loads of times!

So.
Many.
Times.

One big missed item is the Silent Hill Cold Heart pitch document that resides in your kick ass collection!

Shortly after scans of the document appeared online on Silent Hill Memories back in December 2014 the original owner reached out to me via facebook to see if I was interested in purchasing it. Well back then Facebook neglected to alert you if you have messages from people you aren’t friends with in your “other” folder so I didn’t see the offer for 4 days. By the time I saw the message and got back to the seller he had already sold it to you. It kills me how close I was to owning that document but hey at least it went to a friend’s awesome collection in the end :)

The Silent Hill Collectors group on Facebook is hugely popular and it’s seen so many new collectors showing off their collections, Can you offer any advice for anyone who wants to start their own?

To find rare and unique Silent Hill items be sure to check auction sites often! Most of my own collection was acquired through Ebay. Another great place to look is Yahoo Japan Auctions, it can be pricey since you’ll have to go through a third party like Rinkya.com which involves fees upon fees but it’s a great way to find many rare Japanese items!

Also try and talk with other Silent Hill collectors and see if any are interested in trading or selling items as well. It’s one of reasons the collector group is around afterall! I’ve made a lot of great acquisitions for my own collection by just asking! It never hurts to try :)

Most importantly: have fun collecting! It doesn’t matter if you only have the games, it is still a worthy collection to share.  No matter how big someone else’s may be now just know it didn’t grow that way overnight... we all started with a single item afterall. :D

Out of everything in your collection, what was the hardest thing to get hold of?

Definitely the retailer incentive edition of Silent Hill: Dead/Alive #1. This particular comic has cover artwork by Loïc Zimmermann and is the rarest single issue of any of the Silent Hill comics printed to date.

According to Chris Ryall Chief Creative Officer and Editor-in-Chief of IDW Publishing this particular series didn't have huge orders so not many of these covers were shipped.

I found how rare it was myself trying to track one down for my collection after I contacted over 100 comic shops across the world with no luck. Most of the shops either didn't order enough to receive an incentive cover from IDW and those that did only managed to score one and sold it years before my search started.  I really thought I would never find this particular issue but some friends of mine somehow found a copy and surprised me with it. I was so thrilled to check it off my want list!

And finally a few questions just for fun:

Who is your favourite Silent Hill character and why?

Heather. She’s a sassy badass.

Favourite Silent Hill game?

All about the original baby as it is the one that hooked me from day one! (BTW Silent Hill 2 is my next favourite followed by Downpour!)

And finally describe Silent Hill in 140 characters or less.

Your vacation destination for lost family, bizarre cults, & facing your inner demons w/ a 100% chance of fog and a 98% chance of death.

According to magazine scans I stumbled across on EstatuasLimitedEdition.com it looks like Figma's Red Pyramid Thing is due for release in April 2015.

Red Pyramid Thing figure includes:
- Main figure
- Base

- Head part for recreating scenes from the game

The magazine scan does show an image of a Bubble Head nurse but no release date is shown and the only real information is that she will be 20cm tall.

There has been no other news or even pictures of the Bubble Head Nurse figure that is also due to be released in the near future.

Mamegyorai and revealed photographs of the finalized Robbie the Rabbit statues.
As you can see the boxes look amazing and I cannot wait to get my hands on both of these (and the souvenir version if I can get it).

The Pink blood stained Robbie features rusty, blood stained art that looks like a souvenir style product. The Blue Robbie is much similar however the blood and rust are much more present.

Gecco's Robbie the Rabbit is released in Japan this month, although it appears to be sold out everywhere.
For those wanting to get your hands on either of them (or both) you can order them from:

Diamond Comics Distributors Inc. (USA)
Kolektakon LLC (USA)
Abysse Corp (France)
Fantasiland (Italy)
HEO GmbH (Germany)
ILOVETOYZ, INC (Korea)
The Falcon's Hangar (Singapore)

Please note release dates for orders outside of Japan vary with the majority beginning in May and some pre-orders may already be sold out.

So what do you think? And will you be getting your hands on Robbie?

Gecco's Comic Con Exclusive Red Pyramid Thing Statue Review

3/9/2014

Picture
Last year (2013) Gecco announced two variants of their Bubble Head Nurse and Red Pyramid Thing statues. These two variants were available at the San Diego Comic Con (2013) and also via the ToyMunkey website. Both variants are limited to 1500 pieces.

Unfortunately for myself I was not able to attend Comic Con and I never ordered either statues from ToyMunkey studios. It wasn't until later into the year that customers began to notice that ToyMunkey were no longer answering emails or even sending out orders and thus the partnership with Gecco and ToyMunkey ended leaving a lot of customers out of pocket and without their orders.

I assumed it would be a very slim chance that I would be able to get my hands on the mannequin variant. Until Big Bad Toy Store had them in stock and so I grabbed one as quick as a could and I have to admit that once again I am impressed.

The mannequin variant has definitely replaced my liking for the original Lying Figure statue. Already being a huge fan of the mannequin figure, this was definitely a must!

The box art features the statue on the front with the nine square windows that allow you to look directly into the box (these nine squares mimic the nine save points in Silent Hill 2). Both sides of the box also contains sculptor and game information. The artwork on the back of the box features an image of the Red Pyramid Thing created by Masahiro Ito.

The Red Pyramid Thing statue itself is exactly the same as the original statue with the only difference being the Mannequin creature that he is holding. The whole thing is lightweight and made from PVC. The detail is once again superb and the Red Pyramid Thing really does look amazing.
Focusing on the Mannequin creature the paint job is extremely well done, the back of the mannequin is bloody and sore looking. It's legs are cracked and worn, small blood like specs are present and even the lines around where you would expect the feet and legs to connect are visible.

It's 'arms' are much more smooth and shiny than its legs, these look as if they are taken from a genuine mannequin and as we move closer to the main body of the creature you can see small holes that I would assume are meant to show where the 'arms' connect.

The back of the mannequin also has a small round button in its back which you can see in the pictures below.
The base of the statue is the same as its original design, its tiled and features a few loose tiles on top. I like the base more with this statue as the 'arms' of the mannequin are close to the loose titles which suggest while it was trying to break free it knocked the tiles up.
I also really like how the mannequin's body seems to wrap around the Red Pyramid Thing. It's 'arms' go underneath his body while one of its leg wraps itself around his side/back.

Overall the mannequin seems much larger in length than the Lying Figure variant.
One of the first things I noticed when opening the box was that the small card that is included with all Silent Hill Gecco figures is different. With the other three Silent Hill 2 statues the artwork included on the card was the same as the artwork on the back of the box. With the mannequin variant the artwork features the famous scene where the Red Pyramid Thing appears to rape a mannequin. The back of the contains once again contains information about the statue and it's distributors.

Out of all the Silent Hill 2 statues that Gecco have released I would say that this one is by far my favourite. Being a huge fan of the Mannequin creature had already made this a huge must for my collection and so to finally have it has made me very pleased indeed.

This statue is limited but still available at various online stores. You can purchase this statue from Amazon and Ebay however prices are rather high.
Big Bad Toy Store have the Mannequin statue up for pre-order, priced at $179

Game-Legends also have the Mannequin statue available for € 269.98

GE Animation have started to release a new line of Silent Hill inspirede merchandise. Once again the line is based around Silent Hill Homecoming.

The Pyramid Head T-Shirts has the words 'Welcome to Silent Hill' and features an image of Pyramid Head with a very bloody sword. This design is similar to the Pyramid Head bag also released by GE Entertainment a few years back. This T shirt was released January 31st 2014.

The second T shirt is of Robbie the Rabbit and has the towns name just above him. This T shirt was released February 22nd 2014. Both T shirts are available in sizes Small to Extra Large. Rrp of $17.99

Finally two brand new Iphone cases will be released March 30th 2014 and feature the same design as the Robbie T shirt on one and a more movie style Pyramid Head image on the other. The price is yet to be revealed.

Full Robbie the Rabbit Statue Box Art

2/8/2014

Although previews of the box art for the forthcoming Robbie figures have already been revealed. The full artwork is now available to view online.
The Pink and Blue Robbie Statues box have nearly identical box art. However the Souvenir version has a very clean and unique design. As we can see from the images below the Blue and Pink Robbie statues both have 'Robbie the Rabbit Silent Hill 3' on the lid of the box where as the Souvenir version has a 'Sweet Factory Souvenir Shop' logo and a look that you could easily pass off as being taken directly from the shop at Lakeside Amusement Park.
I really like all three designs.

Which one do you like best?

What's going on with that Radio? Insert Coin Clothing Radio Repair T shirt Review

1/5/2014

Picture
When dealing with such a huge and beloved franchise like “Silent Hill”, there’s a plethora of material to use when producing merchandise. One of Insert Coin Clothing’s most recent release of Silent Hill products has incorporated one of the franchise’s most iconic quotes into it’s latest “must have” TShirt.

“What’s going on with that radio?”
This was the immortal line from the original 1999 game that started a franchise not to be messed with. What better way to celebrate this moment than with a piece of merchandise that could be adorned by any loving fan of “Silent Hill”?

The newly released “Radio Repairs” TShirt comes in a Pyramid Red colour, which is a colour that, to my knowledge, has never been used before for a Silent Hill TShirt. It works really well with the stylized Radio image that is shown on the front of TShirt, and if anyone is interested, the tshirt works perfectly if worn underneath the brand new Officially Licensed Insert Coin Sunderland jacket, reviewed HERE.

The TShirt itself is 40% cotton, 60% polyester and feels great. It comes in sizes Small to 3xLarge, which is a very good range and should accommodate most people. I got the Small size, which fitted perfect. I don’t know if other people who own it will find this as well, but to me the TShirt is quite long in length. Sometimes I find this a negative because that extra material just gets in the way, but with this TShirt it was fine. You can wear it tucked into jeans without fear of it popping out, or just wear it loose over your belt. I’m no fashion expert but I’m sure you can rock both styles if you want.

On the inside of the shirt is a washing label, which has the SILENT HILL 2 logo printed on the reverse of it. Even though the immortal line “What’s going on with that radio?” was uttered in the very first game and not the second game, a static radio makes appearances in nearly all of the Silent Hill games (1, 2, 3, 4, Arcade, Origins).

It’s immensely rare nowadays to find any range of “Silent Hill” merchandise. The gaming franchise has nearly dried up and with the news of a third film almost gone extinct it’s refreshing to see companies like Insert Coin produce a line of clothing dedicated to the series. I hope they continue, because so far their other TShirts have been awesome – and clearly designed by people who know and appreciate the franchise. Read more about the “Silent Hill Historical Society” TShirt HERE and the “Lakeview Hotel” TShirt HERE.

Priced at only £22, this TShirt is very reasonable and very well produced for the price. Available HERE from Insert Coin, and while you are at it why not take a look at their other “Silent Hill” TShirts, to take advantage of their current 3 for 2 on all tshirts deal.

The last time I visited Silent Hill, I was on vacation with my Uncle James. We agreed that when we got there we would just go our separate ways and do our own thing, cause really we had nothing in common – and he had gone a bit loopy after Aunt Mary went missing.

The first thing I wanted to do while in town was visit Rosewater Park. I’d read in all the pamphlets that it was a lovely place. Unfortunately by the time it took to get there it was a far too foggy to appreciate the surroundings however whilst there I did find a little radio. The vintage wireless was lying on one of the park benches, and there was nobody around, so I took it and put it in my rucksack. Hey, don’t judge me - finders keepers!

I left the park not long after finding the radio, and realised I hadn’t eaten since that morning, so I checked my map and headed for The Lucky Jade Restaurant. It was while on my way there that it happened… The radio started crackling and hissing with static from inside my backpack. It really freaked me out, and when I stopped to take the radio out of my rucksack I saw a dark shadow of a figure dart across the street through the fog, and head towards me. I didn’t stay long to see what the figure was; I grabbed my backpack and started running in the opposite direction.

I stopped when I came to a Gas Station. There was a man standing outside the old run down shack. He was about middle aged, unshaven with a grey baseball cap on. I hurried up to the old man, and bent over to catch my breath.
“What’s wrong son?” He asked, his voice was deep and sounded as if he wasn’t from around these parts.
“There was something in the fog. Something chasing me.” I panted.
And then the crackling sound started from my rucksack again. I swung the bag off my shoulder and took the radio from out of it.
“What’s going on with that radio?” The man asked.
“I don’t know,” I replied “It must be broken.”
“I can fix it for you.” The man said, grabbing the radio from me and rushing inside the gas station. I followed him inside, and watched as he barricaded the front door with an old plank of wood.

After a lot of clanking of tools and a lot of hissing from the static radio, the man appeared from the back room of the gas station.
“Well son… I’ve fixed the radio. No more static, no more worries.” He took his hands from out behind his back and handed me the radio, along with a TShirt.
“Be careful out there son, this town holds a lot of nightmares for a lot of people.”

The Silent Hill Paradise Gift Guide

12/9/2013

Win a Robbie plush and more by clicking HERE

Picture
As we all know Christmas is fast approaching! It's that time of year where you have to get something for pretty much everyone and lets be honest, its not exactly easy!

So to help you out this year I've come up with the perfect Christmas Gift Guide to ensure that awesome Silent Hill fan in your life gets exactly what they want and to make it a little bit easier I have included links directly to the gifts in question. So its as simple as click, checkout, chill!

I have selected a large number of links from around the world so there is something for everyone no matter where you are!

Luckily this year SIlent Hill fans were treated to quite a lot of Silent Hill merchandise. For those fans who like to look good, why not treat them to a Silent Hill cap, T-shirt or wristband?

Insert Coin Clothing currently have two different Silent Hill T-shirts available. The first being the Silent Hill Historical Society T shirt and the Lakeview Hotel T shirt. Both T-shirts are available in sizes Small to 3 X Extra Large. Or why not check out the Lakeside Amusement Park T-shirt available from Game Legends, this T-shirt is available in sizes Small to Extra Large.

For the fans who like to sport some awesome headgear, why not give them a Silent Hill Military Hat featuring the one and only Pyramid head or the brilliant Robbie the Rabbit cap. And if that's not enough a matching Lakeside Amusement Park cap (to go with the T-shirt) is also available.

The perfect stocking filler would also be the Lakeside Amusement Park wristband, also available from Game Legends.
Picture
If none of the above are making you want to spend your cash then maybe a Robbie plush will change your mind? There is nothing like a blood stained Rabbit to show its Christmas! And this year Gaya Entertainment released quite possibly one of the most amazing Silent Hill items ever! The Robbie the Rabbit plush is available from Game Legends, Amazon and various other stores. He stands at 37cm tall and is so darn cute! This one is pretty much a WIN all in its self.

Also available from Game Legends is the Halo of the sun Keyring, another great stocking filler!

If you're wanting to spend a bit more on your presents this year for that REALLY special Silent Hill fan, you could always grab them a Silent Hill Gecco figure.

Currently there are a total of 4 figures available (with the 5th becoming available in Japan this month). The first being the Red Pyramid Thing figure with a Lying Figure or the Bubble Head Nurse figure. Both of these figures are more available than the Red Bubble Head nurse or the Red Pyramid Thing figure with a Mannequin in his hands. These latter figures were available at San Diego Comic Con this year are limited to 1500 pieces, so will be a bit more pricey. Do not fear though as you can still get them from Amazon, Ebay or any other sites that just happen to still have them in stock.

If you're like me, you might really enjoy hand made gifts. There is something about a gift that has either been made by someone close to you or just someone that really adds something extra! So for those of you who love to give a more personal gift why not check out the custom Silent Hill 4 Saint Medallion. This medallion is beautifully made and a real must for any Silent Hill fan. I ended up buying one myself. This Medallion is actually made by the awesome lady that runs Alchemilla Hospital

Another beautifully made item is the 'A Tale of Birds Without a Voice' Silent Hill inspired Art book. It features a total of 16 illustrations showcasing characters and locations in SIlent Hill. The book is created by Elisa Fortes, who I know is a HUGE Silent Hill fan so you're really getting an awesome piece of Silent Hill memorabilia. The great thing about this book is that you can purchase it in a Hardback copy or a Digital copy. I have asked for this for Christmas so if I don't get it ill be very upset. :P

Your Silent Hill fan may really love a Silent Hill Facebook fan page, so why not get them a Silent Nerd T-shirt or a Silent Haven T-shirt?

As it gets closer to Christmas you'll be wanting to get all of those presents done and dusted as quickly as possible and what is quicker than a Dvd/Blu Ray or Game? Silent Hill Revelation was released on Dvd, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray this year and so why not grab a copy? You can purchase Silent Hill Revelation from a large number of Stores including Amazon, Ebay, Hmv and more, plus with it already being out for quite a while you might be able to get it at a steal.

If you'd rather keep the person you're giving a gift to keep them quiet for a while so you can enjoy your own presents, go for a Silent Hill Game. It's a great gift and contains hours (if not days/weeks/months) of playing. You can choose from a total of ten Silent Hill games (including Book of Memories for the Vita) although the older games will most likely be found on sites such as Ebay.

Finally for those who don't have the time to get a gift or don't quite have enough funds, why not give the gift of a pre-order? A Silent Hill 3 Heather figure will be available this month in Japan and hopefully available some time next year everywhere else. Along with this in February a Robbie the Rabbit figure will also be available and if you pre-order it now from AmiAmi you get a free tin of Robbie Tea! Both figures are made once again by Gecco. You could always pre-order one and then pay once available, that way the person you intend to give it to will receive an amazing gift without paying a penny.

Hopefully this has helped you make up your mind on what to get the Silent Hill fan in your life. If it hasn't or you can't really afford anything FEAR NOT! As You can win some of the things featured in this article directly from Silent Hill Paradise, just click HERE to enter.

Silent Hill Historical Society is also giving away a Silent Hill play novel and guide.

Alchemilla Hospital is giving away a copy of Silent Hill 3 for Pc and a guide.

Silent Haven is giving away all 4 issues of Silent Hill Past Life.

Gaya Entertainment have released two official Silent Hill T-shirts and they are awesome!

The first is the Halo of the Sun t-shirt which was exclusive to Gamescom 2013. It was then sold at Games Expo in London. The T-shirt features the Halo of the Sun symbol on the front.

The second t-shirt is the Lakeside Amusement Park T-shirt which is available via the Game Legends website. This T-shirt features the Lakeside Amusement Park logo and the words
'If you've done six impossible things in your life
why not round it off
with a death at Lakeside Amusement Park?'

Both T-shirts are made from 100% cotton and are great quality! The design is long lasting and even after several washes does not lose any colour or fade.

The Halo of the Sun T-shirt isn't currently available via Game Legends however it will be in the future so do keep your eyes open!

Both T-shirts come in sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra large!
You can currently get your own Lakeside T-shirt right HERE

While you're at it check out Game Legends on Facebook.
