Silent Hill 2 Remake

The remake of Silent Hill 2 was announced by Konami on October 19th 2022. The game has been made by Bloober Team and will see the return of Akira Yamaoka and Masahiro Ito.

Currently no release date has been announced however Silent Hill 2 will be exclusive to Playstation 5 and steam for the first 12 months of release.  

On January 31st 2024, during Sony's Playstation State of Play Konami revealed a combat trailer for Silent Hill 2, along with announcing new game Silent Hill The Short Message. No release date for Silent Hill 2 was revealed.

On May 30th 2024, Konami shared the release date for the upcoming remake of Silent Hill 2. A new trailer was released, along with a release date of October 8th 2024. Digital pre-orders were made available which included bonus content including a Robbie the Rabbit Mask, Soundtrack and digital art book. A video featuring interviews with the new voice cast was also shared, along with a video from Bloober team.
