Gecco have revealed new image and the pre-order for their upcoming James Sunderland Statue.

This statue was previously teased in 2022 and has finally been fully revealed. 

James measures approximately 310mm (1/6 scale) and is made from Polystone/Polyurethane. He has been sculpted by Shinya Yamaoka and painted by Katsushige Akeyama. 

James comes on a street-style base with health bottles attached and even includes a wooden plank, steel pipe, handgun and the great knife.

This is one of many releases this year from Gecco. They have previously revealed Maria, a new Pyramid Head statue and even the Missionary from Silent Hill 3.

Gecco have revealed that six new mini Robbie the Rabbit figurines will be available later this year! 

You'll be able to get your hands on these new 9.5cm high Robbies in White, Pink, Yellow, Green, Purple and Blue. A stretcher is also available (priced at $17.99) for you to recreate famous Silent Hill scenes featuring the mascots from the Lost Memories: The Art and Music of Silent Hill Dvd.

Each figure has a different weapon, with the pink Robbie being the only figure with two.

​Way back in April 2015 Gecco announced they were working on two more Silent Hill statues but since then very little information has appeared about them. 

The most recent update came from Whitney of Silent Hill Historical Society in December. She reached out to Gecco to see if there was any news to share with regards to the statues but unfortunately was told that they're still working on them and will post any news to their Facebook page.

​As it was only two months ago that we had an update I decided to contact Gecco myself but instead of asking for an update I was curious to see if Gecco had any plans to release any additional merchandise this year. As Gecco have released a bunch of T Shirts and iPhone cases in the past I wanted to see if we can expect more additional items to come. 

​Gecco responded to my email to let me know that there was no update on the statues (Which I expected) but they;


"Hopefully will release other items this year, and they are more like accessories".

So expect even more awesome releases possibly this year from Gecco! 

When comparing the statues side by side, the only difference is the blood and obviously his colour. With the original Pink and Blue Robbie statues, the blood was symmetrical either side of the mouth. As you can see from the pictures, the new Robbie's blood is all around his mouth and cheeks. There appear to be no other differences aside from this. ​

In April Gecco revealed that two new Silent Hill 2 statues were on the way and would be released in 2016. 

It was revealed that the first statue would once again be of the Red Pyramid Thing and this time would include the spear. The other statue is still being kept secret.

Fortunately I has a brief chat with Masahiro Ito himself through the Silent Hill Fans group on Facebook and I asked him a couple of questions about the upcoming releases. 

Although only small bits of information was shared, it's exciting news either way. The first thing he revealed was that the spear will be much larger than what is seen in the games. The second is that this statue will reveal the very first concept for what is actually under the RPT's helmet! 

I am highly curious to know what is under his helmet but at the same time the element of mystery is what adds to the overall sinister look he gives off. As we have seen with previous releases he appears to have a large, billowing, fleshy mass that hangs just below his helmet. As to what will be revealed when the statues are finally showcased we will just have to wait and see.

Gecco Corp have revealed that a new Silent Hill statue is finally on the way! Although it isn't exactly 'new' it is a first for Robbie the Rabbit.

A new green variant statue of Robbie the Rabbit is due to be released in 2016 and will be priced at $150. 

There are already a total of 3 variants of this statue available (Bloody Blue, Bloody Pink and a clean souvenir version) making this the 4th Robbie variant to be released by Gecco Corp. One thing that instantly stands out for me is the shade of green he is.
This particular variant is taken from the Usagi short film from The Art of Silent Hill Dvd. Green Robbie only appears briefly and appears to lighter in colour. 

This statue will be distributed worldwide via D4TOYS and will be 1/6 in scale. Once again he will be flocked and will also come with a Chainsaw and gold pipe (another first). The chainsaw also has the words 'Together we are one' inscribed into the side. 

As Robbie also appears in Yellow and Purple, I wonder if we will see additional colours in the future.

Gecco have announced that more Silent Hill 2 statues are in the works and have revealed that one of these statues will be the "Red Pyramid Thing with the Great Spear".

An email I received this morning from Gecco themselves informed me that the two statues that are in the works are not quite ready to be revealed fully, as the prototypes are still yet to be completed. 

We can expect two new statues from Gecco with the other yet to be revealed.

The Red Pyramid Thing statue will be 1/6 in scale and Masahiro Ito will once again be designing the package artwork.

The only reason this information was released before a prototype was even complete was due to a tweet being shared between Ito and the Gecco art director through Twitter. You can view this tween below.

And this year Gaya Entertainment released quite possibly one of the most amazing Silent Hill items ever! The Robbie the Rabbit plush is available from Game Legends, Amazon and various other stores. He stands at 37cm tall and is so darn cute! This one is pretty much a WIN all in its self. 

If you're wanting to spend a bit more on your presents this year for that REALLY special Silent Hill fan, you could always grab them a Silent Hill Gecco figure. 

The first being the Red Pyramid Thing figure with a Lying Figure or the Bubble Head Nurse figure. Both of these figures are more available than the Red Bubble Head nurse or the Red Pyramid Thing figure with a Mannequin in his hands. These latter figures were available at San Diego Comic Con and are limited to 1500 pieces, so will be a bit more pricey. Do not fear though as you can still get them from Amazon, Ebay or any other sites that just happen to still have them in stock. 

The more recent Gecco releases include Heather, Pink Bloody Robbie, Blue Bloody Robbie and A bloodless limited edition Robbie. The Bloodless version is exclusive to Japan and is limited to 300 pieces however you may be able to grab one if you use the auction sites Rinkya or Jauce.

If you're like me, you might really enjoy hand made gifts. There is something about a gift that has either been made by someone close to you or just someone that really adds something extra! So for those of you who love to give a more personal gift why not check out the custom Robbie the Rabbit Tree decoration or Toluca Mall Keychain. The book is created by Elisa Fortes, who I know is a HUGE Silent Hill fan so you're really getting an awesome piece of Silent Hill memorabilia. As it gets closer to Christmas you'll be wanting to get all of those presents done and dusted as quickly as possible and what is quicker than a Dvd/Blu Ray or Game? Why not grab Silent Hill Revelation  on Dvd, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray? You can purchase Silent Hill Revelation from a large number of Stores including Amazon, Ebay, Hmv and more. The Uk Steel Pack of the Original Silent Hill film was also released this year and as it's limited edition, this is one item that should surely bring a smile to any Silent Hill fan.

As you should know by now at Gamescon this year we were treated to a free playable teaser download of P.T which revealed the forthcoming next Silent Hill game 'Silent Hills'. Well remember that creepy fetus in the sink? Why not own your very own? A 3D printed P.T Fetus is available via shapeways!

We were also treated to more Downpour this year with the awesome Comic Book Series 'Silent Hill Downpour: Anne's story. This series of comics follows the story of Anne Marie Cunningham and extends upon what we played through in the Downpour game. Issues 1-3 are currently available now with the 4th and final issue being available December 10th. 

If you'd rather keep the person you're giving a gift to keep them quiet for a while so you can enjoy your own presents, go for a Silent Hill Game.

A Red Pyramid Thing figure from Figma will be available April worldwide. A new pose-able Robbie the Rabbit figure will also be available in July from Medicom Toy. When Gecco announced in July 2013 that they were going to release a Robbie the Rabbit statue, they revealed that there would be a total of three variants available. The first two being a Pink and Blue blood stained statue. The two statues would be available for general release across the world.

The third statue however, was only made available in Japan. To get your hands on one you would need to apply through Figure Oh (Figure King) Magazine. This variant is also limited to only 300 pieces and comes in a souvenir style packaging. Luckily I managed to get my hands on one and I have to say, I think its my favorite out of the three.

To start off with, the packaging for the Souvenir Robbie statue is quite different indeed. The statue box itself comes inside a white box which has a printed ribbon around it. This box has novelty stickers on which make it look as if it has been delivered directly from Silent Hill itself. I especially love the fragile sticker, which has a rabbit silhouette. There is also an address label which states it has been sent from ‘Mr Robbie’ and a QR Code which when scanned takes you to the Gecco website. 

Opening up this parcel we are greeted with the Souvenir Statue. Unlike the other statues, the box art is clean and bright. It has the ‘Sweet Factory, Souvenir Shop’ logo on the top of the box. This time the sides of the box have no statue and sculptor info but are replaced with novelty images of Robbie and the other Lakeside Amusement Park mascots. I especially love how the mascot side states ‘Not also Available’. A carousel silhouette pattern also adorns the sides of the box. The back art still features the image of several Robbie’s in a bathtub (created by Usagi Takana). 

Just from looking into the box you can easily see that the map that is included as a backdrop for the other variants has been removed and has instead been replaced with gold backing. 

The Souvenir Robbie statue features no blood at all. The blood that is present around the mouths of the other statues has been removed entirely. His clothes are clean and tidy and the chainsaw is also shiny and bloodless, along with the base that he can stand on.

Aside from the lack of blood, the only difference with the base is that it has a stamp at the bottom stating that it’s the exclusive souvenir version, printed in white. 

When standing all three of the Robbie statue’s together in their boxes, you can see the decay from clean to blood and rust. I love how so much thought has gone into the packaging of these statue’s and I would have to say that out of all the releases from Gecco, the Robbie statue’s are by far my favorite. I especially love how this variant really does feel like a souvenir, the fact it has the store logo from Silent Hill 3 on the top, it's clean, bright and a joy to look at. 

Sadly Gecco have no plans to release this version in the future and will stick to releasing the Blood stained variants worldwide only. If you would like to try and get your hands on one of these yourself you can try various auction websites like Jauce and Rinkya, although this variant is already selling for well over 30,000 yen.
