Although their Robbie the Rabbit statue already comes in three different variants, a Green version was announced with a small number of differences along with it.
The Green Robbie appears in the Usagi short film from Lost Memories: The Art and Music of Silent Hill Dvd and although he only appears briefly it would appear that brief moment was worthy of an official statue release. Not that I'm complaining of course.
As with previous reviews, I have usually talked about every aspect of the statue and its packaging, however with this review I am simply focusing on the differences. For this review I am comparing the packaging from the original Pink Robbie as well as the Pink and Blue statues themselves.
The back features an image taken from the Dvd of a small number of Robbies crowded together in a elevator. You can clearly see the Green Robbie in the picture. This image is also signed by Usagi Tanaka in the lower right hand corner. The same image is also printed on the back of the info card included with every statue.
Starting with the left hand side of the box, it once again features information about the people behind the statue. The only difference here are the actual people who worked on this and the original. Whereas the right hand side is almost identical, the only difference is that they have added a small section about the short film included on the Lost Memories Dvd.
You can still grab the Green Robbie from D4Toys for $155 as well as the Blue variant which was originally exclusive to Japan and is priced slightly cheaper at $140. Shipping is available worldwide.
