Although originally due to be released December 2013 Heather was pushed back a month to January 2014 due to Gecco wanting to get her just right before her release and I have to admit they have done just that!
The Heather statue is a real work of art. The amount of detail that has gone into making her is outstanding and I have to admit that the additional one month wait was totally worth it.
Although original images that were released showed her with a little more detail, I really cannot complain at all when looking at her. Even the box art is a real treat for the eyes.
The front of the box features a large image of Heather printed on the front and a circle window allows you to look inside at the statue itself. Also printed on the plastic window is the famous Halo of the Sun symbol.
As with previous Silent Hill statues from Gecco, both sides of the box contain various information about Silent Hill, Heather and the team behind her. I especially love the image of the doll on the left hand side of the box. This is the same doll that Heather finds in one of the rooms in Brookhaven Hospital. (image below)
The back of the box features the popular image of Heather slumped over in a wheelchair with a nurse standing directly behind her. I love this image and although the front of the box is stunning, I will be having the back on display.
Her skin has been painted so perfectly that you can almost pass it off for real skin even creases in her arms are darker in colour as with the back of her knees. Her skirt is worn in various places, especially at the back. For me, this detail gives off the impression of it being leather.
Her boots are dark brown in colour and even have a small, delicately painted gold buckle on each of them. The statue itself stands at a total of 25 centimetres and 1/6 in size.
In comparison to the base from the Bubble Head Nurse and Red Pyramid Thing statues, this base is by far my favourite. I love the way it looks as if Heather is under a spot light. The base really does look like its made from steel with the added appearance of bolts and mesh really give off an authentic look.
Gecco has once again included a small card that is attached to the inside of the lid. The card that came with previous statues was numbered however the card that comes with Heather contains only statue information.
For fans of Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill in general this is an amazing addition to anyone's collection. Heather really is a true work of art and a must for any fan. I cannot wait for Robbie to be released this month (February 2013) as I know that I will be impressed once again.
